Pratt is looking for a data analyst to join their predictive analytics team. This role will be analyzing data around shop visits for jet engines.
The role will help to build out analysis and data/statistics models supporting their sales teams who are selling Pratt Engines. Much of the data being analyzed includes information around shop visit dates, what was fixed, environment data around how the engines were flown, and other generic information around the shop visit etc.
The goal of this role will be to help predict upcoming shop visits and their costs. This will in turn help the sales teams to educate their customers.
Much of this data will be pulled out of a large Teradata database. They will assist in building out the models.
This is a great opportunity for someone to work in a group where they can immediately impact the bottom line. They are also working on some really cutting-edge jet engines highly regarded within the airline industry.
A Masters in Stats isn’t required. Experience with R is a necessity and a math or stats bachelor degree as well. Bayesian experience is strongly preferred.
