19 students recently went on the departments Zion's Bancorporation employer visit! We received 24 applications, and all 24 students were invited to attend. Of those invited, 19 attended, resulting in a 79% attendance rate. Four students were no-shows, and one student declined the invitation.
The attendees included 12 seniors (63%), 5 juniors (26%), and 2 sophomores (11%).
We received feedback from 16 attendees. Overall, 15 of the 16 respondents (94%) agreed or strongly agreed that the visit increased their confidence in their career options and provided greater clarity about their career or life plans. The average visit recommendation rating was 8.25 out of 10.
Students particularly appreciated:
- Learning about current projects and seeing data science and AI work in a corporate setting
- Hearing directly from Zions employees about their experiences and career advice
- Opportunities to ask questions and connect with employees in small-group or one-on-one conversations
- The personal, sincere, and approachable nature of the employees
